Jugalbandhi

So, ihop* and I, very innocuously, developed a string of emails into a poetic, if you will, yet shrewd confrontation between the Green Goblin and Spiderman. The context is unimportant. Suffice to say that the Moog was involved. A real one.

ihop
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout.
Down came the Goblin and took the spider out.

hijinxs
Out came M.J. & kissed the spider luck,
And the itsy bitsy spider kicked the Goblin's butt!

ihop
"Revenge!" screamed the Goblin, nursing his aching back,
And pursued the spider again, to squash it with a thwack!
Almost died the spider, with an expression of total pain
His eyes popping out, his body turning pale...
A questioning look had the itsy spider, making the Goblin explain,
"The one thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail."

hijinxs
Thus gloated the Goblin, really green,
All he knew was how to preen

Spidey just wouldn't give in,
He bashed his foe left and right
And the goblin's teeth fell within
The goblin pleaded, "Spare me, I'm touched with blight"
But his Moog he summoned, on the sly,
With the thought that he would kill & fly.
Spidey was smart; he jumped away with prudence
And the Goblin got his comeuppance!

ihop
Spidey was a friendly neighborhood man,
Quite given to romantic interludes and upside-down kissing
But ah...all for love, and love for all
Is a theme very taxing; such generosity is quite distracting!!

So as Spidey went about his irenic ways
He neglected a young narcotic addict
Who, having witnessed his Goblin father's last days,
Was plotting against Spidey for a particularly vengeful verdict!

hijinxs
Spidey was aware of Harry's vengeful thoughts,
But he couldn't do a thing as his hands were tied in knots.
A promise made to a evil buzzard;
Would bind him to his word.
And turn a blind eye in the face of evil plots.
