Slow down from your daily dash

It is for you to dedicatedly pursue,
And diligently construe.
From all revelry you may abstain
Until you attain
Cognition in the art of creating verse.
So when faced with a situation adverse,
You sing at the top of your voice
Instead of being morose, you rejoice!
